Camel Hotel is located in Na’ama Bay, the main resort area of Sharm El Sheikh, fifteen minutes from the airport. We still operate from the location where Camel was established in 1986. Today, Camel Dive Club & Hotel is an oasis of calm amongst the cafes, restaurants and shops of Naama Bay’s pedestrian area. The main jetty, from where daily boats depart for diving and snorkelling, is approximately five minutes walk.

Built by divers, for divers, we are proud to have been awarded Winner of Tauchen Magazine's Best Diving Hotel Worldwide. Our 4 star hotel has thirty-eight comfortable rooms. The rooms are arranged on two floors around a central courtyard with swimming pool. Thirty superior rooms have their own terrace or balcony overlooking the pool. Eight standard rooms are of the same quality, but without pool view and without terrace or balcony. As a budget or family option, four standard rooms may be converted to sleep up to four people in bunk beds.

All our rooms have en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite TV, and safe deposit box. Free wireless internet access is available at hotspots around the Hotel, including the balconies and terraces of some rooms.

Swimming pool

Our pool was designed with relaxation, as well as diver training, in mind. You can watch student divers taking their first breaths under water, or simply relax with a cool drink in the jacuzzi. Sun loungers and parasols are provided, plus beach towels for Camel Hotel guests. A poolside drinks and snacks menu is available during summer.

Sandy beach

We have access to the sandy beach in Na'ama Bay, two minutes' walk from the Hotel. Collect your token and beach towel from Camel Hotel reception. The token gives you free access to the beach, and use of the sun loungers and parasols. Activities available at the beach include snorkelling, pedalo rides, parasailing, dinghy sailing, and glass bottom boat trips.

Camel Bar

Probably the most famous bar in Sharm El Sheikh, Camel Bar is actually three bars. You can watch big sports games and live bands in Camel Bar’s air-conditioned interior, enjoy a sundowner on the Terrace, or chill out and admire the view from the Roof. All three bars serve tasty snacks and a full drinks menu, including cocktails and shooters.

If sport is your passion, join us for live coverage via satellite of all the main sporting events, including premiership football, Rugby Union, Formula 1 Grand Prix and cricket.

Live music

At least twice per month, we host an eclectic selection of live bands with our ‘Thursday Night Live’ sessions. Rock, blues, latin, salsa and classics, take your pick.

Resident DJs

Both Camel Bar and the Roof host resident DJs.The vibe on the Roof is chilled and funky, to fit the comfortable sofas and Moroccan lamps. Downstairs a party atmosphere prevails, with a mix of old school, rock and classic tunes.

Restaurants

Whether you seek a hearty breakfast, a relaxed lunch, a candlelit dinner, a quick snack, a cappuccino or a fresh fruit smoothie, you can find it all at our restaurants. We serve only high quality, fresh food, prepared to the highest standards.

Pomodoro

Our main restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its Italian coffee, and generous breakfast and lunch buffets are popular with residents and guests. Pomodoro’s dinner menu features Italian grilled meat , fish dishes, and homemade pizza. The terrace is cooled by fans and mist in summer, and heated in winter.

Tandoori

Our award-winning Tandoori Indian restaurant is a local favourite. You can watch resident Indian Chef Abhay at work in the open-air show kitchen. The menu includes meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian specialties, plus freshly-cooked breads. The courtyard is cooled by fans in summer, and heated in winter. Reservation is recommended.

Vanilla

Vanilla’s Chef Claudio has created over twenty flavours of home-made Italian ice cream. Vanilla also serves freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, iced coffees and milkshakes. Drinks and sheesha pipes are available on the terrace and in the chill out zone next to our dive centre.

Donpanino

With a name inspired by the classic movie The Godfather, Don Panino serves gourmet wraps, sandwiches, panini, burgers, pizzas and salads, plus soft drinks, draught beer and Italian coffee. All items may be taken away, or there is shaded seating on the terrace.

Tribe shop

Dive in to the Camel Tribe shop and immerse yourself into a different Sharm el Sheikh shopping experience. The Tribe shop was re-launched in 2004 and since then has established its self as the one stop shop for quality merchandise with unique collections found no where else in Sharm. Add to this the boutique style ambiance and the friendly experienced assistants and you have the perfect combination for a satisfying shopping experience.

Sharm el Sheikh has lots of things to do; from diving to fine dining and from desert trips to discos. Tribe boutique has an exclusive range of clothing to fit your scene. Full wheelchair access

We are proud to hold a PADI Accessibility Award, for the facilities we provide for guests with disabilities. We offer full wheelchair access to all public areas. Five ground-floor superior rooms are designed to be accessible to wheelchair users, with ramps and specially equipped bathrooms.
